Actually, I'm not talking about dance dance revolution (although we have played that at the 13th Floor before), and there isn't going to be any other revolution. But close enough. Holly and Mike are both going to BE IN CHARGE and TAKE OVER on Friday! All kinds of games and activities are planned. Be there to find out more!

to come sledding with the 13th Floor! Imagine slipping down snowy hills, flying over jumps, gazing as the first few stars appear, and rushing as you race to the bottom. What could be more fun?
Who: All teens welcome!
What: Sledding!
Where: At Connor's Hill near the Muttart Conservatory (the pyramids)
When: 7:00 PM-10:00 PM (We leave at 7:00 and are back at the church by 10:00)
Why: To enjoy the frosty winter weather, have some fun, and hang out with your friends
How: Pastor Brad will transport the sleds to the hill with the van. But we need drivers! Please ask your parents if they would be willing to drive kids to the hill. Contact Pastor Brad if you want to be a driver or if you need more directions.
Bring: A sled, and warm clothes. Dress for the weather because it might be very cold!
By the way, have you ever gone sand tobogganing? Apparently they do it in Australia!

The next sequel is coming out in theatres NOW! LIFE 2 is the exciting and newly released follow-up to LIFE. Actually, I'm just joking about the theatres part but we will get to hear about the vast topic of life at the 13th Floor this Friday! Come on out to hear more about it! As well, a reminder to Holly's small group that we are having a pyjama night. Wear your PJ's and remember to bring the ingredients you were assigned for our heavenly snack.

What a breathtaking word. Some fight for it. Some desperately want it. And others couldn't care less about it. They even go to great extremes to take their own. I'm guessing everyone wants to know why we're here on this little mudball, spinning in a HUGE galaxy of stars and planets. And I might also be right when I say that most people want to live it to the fullest, and have some fun while we're here. I'm sure there are hundreds of topics regarding LIFE and we'll touch up on a few this week, while also having some excitement to go with it! Come to find out!

This is the first event at the 13th Floor in 2007 and it's also the time to make new resolutions. (Hopefully ones that you can keep and follow through with!) Now is also the time to get rid of all the unwanted things in our lives so that we can start fresh. This is where the "sin bin" comes in. All of the things that are blocking you from God in your life NEED TO GO! So bring them in or write them on a piece of paper so that we can GET RID OF THEM! That's the serious part. After that we'll be playing some cool games like Horse Cup!
