Do you like water slides? Do you enjoy swimming and hanging at the pool with your friends? Or do you just want a refreshing way to spend your Friday night? This week we will be going on a trip to the Spruce Grove Leisure Centre! There is a water slide and a large swimming pool. You must be at the church at 7:00PM and we will be back at the church by 10:30PM (or possibly earlier depending on when we leave since the pool closes at 10PM). The cost is $7.00. So remember to bring your money, bathing suit/swim trunks, towel, and a friend!

This Friday we will be going to West Edmonton Mall to do some exciting activities and have fun!!! Start off Spring Break with an adventure in the mall and with all your friends from the 13th Floor!
Also remember, we will be back at church at 10:30 PM so that we have more time to do more fun and crazy things!
Did you know that West Edmonton Mall will be the major location for the making of the movie "Christmas in Wonderland"? That's why they haven't taken the Christmas decorations down yet! It will be released in November and they will need extras for the movie. So if you are naturally dramatic and think you have what it takes, you might see yourself on the big screen!

We will be doing all kinds of things regarding the color green since Saturday is St. Patrick's Day. By the way do you actually know who St. Patrick was?
Didn't think so.
He was a Christian missionary who was actually not Irish at all; he was born in Britain but taken as a slave to Ireland. Legend has it that he explained the Trinity to the Irish by using a three-leaf clover. As well, he wrote that he "baptised thousands of people". Because of his deeds he is regarded as a saint in Ireland.

Holly will be talking to us this Friday night so come out and remember to memorize your verses from Romans. If you don't have the verses, here they are:

Romans 3:10 - as it is written, "THERE IS NONE RIGHTEOUS, NOT EVEN ONE;"
Romans 3:23 - For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
Romans 5:12 - Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned--
Romans 5:19 - For as through the one man's disobedience the many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the One the many will be made righteous.
Romans 6:23 - For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 5:8 - But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 10:9-11 - that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. For the Scripture says, "WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED."
