On Friday we will be spending time with young adults from Vanguard College. They will be coming to the church. We will have pizza at the end too! (for snacking on, so eat supper before.)

Tickets: You should have already bought them but I think you can buy them at the door too. But you will be on your own with that.

Note: We leave church at 7:00 PM and come back at 10:30 PM.

This is the last week of the 3 part series on...you guessed it!

On Friday we'll wrap up the topic we've been dealing with for this month. Most (or maybe all) of the end of Acts is about Paul. He's actually a pretty brave guy who's been through a lot of bad times. Did you know that he was shipwrecked at least once and suffered beatings and torture? He was one tough guy! So, I' ll see you all on Friday to hear the last episode.
Hey, has everyone completed the challenge yet?

This Friday will be the sequel to last week. We will be continuing to talk about Acts and all of the amazing things that happen in this book.
Have you read about Saul? He was the guy who was out to get all the believers and then he had an encounter with God that turned him into a major all-out Christian! Talk about the unexpected! (Read Acts 9)
And have you ever read about the time that Paul healed a cripple and the people (who were into Greek mythology) thought that Barnabas was Zeus and Paul was Hermes? The people were going to sacrifice a bull to Paul and Barnabas but they told the crowds that they had the wrong impression. It was God who has the power. Pretty good advice. (Read Acts 14)
So whatever else happens, we will all have an awesome time! See you there!

This week we will be learning about Acts. Have you ever read the book of Acts before? Basically, it's the thrilling sequel to the first four books of the New Testament and picks up right when Jesus is lifted up to heaven. It answers the question "What's next?". Jesus is up in heaven now so how can everyone continue being a Christian without their biggest leader, Jesus? And how is everyone else going to find out about God now? There's all kinds of different stories including the one about the first martyr and flames of fire from the Holy Spirit.
